Background

Clyde E. Wilkins is a United States Air Force veteran with over thirty eight years combined military and federal civil service experience. Clyde attained the top Air Force enlisted grade and the top enlisted position in Air Force Reserve Civil Engineering as the Command Prime BEEF and RED HORSE manager as well as the Individual Mobilization Augmentee (IMA) to The Air Force Chief of Enlisted Matters for the office of The Air Force Civil Engineer. Clyde earned an Associate Degree in Production Maintenance Management through the Community College of the Air force and is a certified Green Belt in AFSO21 (LEAN Continuous Process Improvement). During his military career, Chief Wilkins supervised up to 225 direct reports and was responsible for 5900 reservists in 12 separate and distinct skill sets. He managed Air Force equipment assets valued at over $60M. In his civil service career, he provided the long-term strategic vision establishing and managing the Military Force Structure program with over $450M in initiatives and sustainability, improving the command's Civil Engineering program spanning a 6 year period.
